Dear colleagues,

The time is drawing very near for our 3rd African Water Cycle Initiative Workshop 4-5 February 2013 at the Art Suites Hotel in El-Jadida, Morocco.

Regarding transportation from the airport at Casablanca to El-Jadida, there are 3 options:

1) There is a train leaving from the airport to Casablanca every hour. You will need to change trains at the "Ouasis" station, the first stop after leaving the airport (approximately 22 minutes). The cost is USD8 and the entire journey takes approximately 1.5 hours. A train schedule for Sunday, 3 February, is attached for your convenience. Once in El Jadida, a taxi can take you to the hotel for USD1-2.

2) A taxi can be organized from the airport to the hotel in El-Jadida. THe cost is 500-600 Drhams (appx. USD65) and the taxi is authorized to take up to 3 occupants for a single fare.

3) Prof. Kamal Labbassi had kindly arranged for a free shuttle pick-up at the airport for Sunday, 3 February, leaving approximately 18:00. If you wish to take the shuttle, kindly inform him by email at: labbassi@ucd.ac.ma

Prof. Labbassi is going to arrange for a student to be at the airport most of the day on Sunday, 3 February, to provide assistance with finding transportation.
