Earth Observation Data Integration & Fusion Research Initiative

Through cooperation between research fields for the effective integration and fusion of earth observation data, this enterprise serves the purpose of presenting to the world a breakthrough in research results for understanding global environmental change, modelling, and development of countermeasures; along with demonstrating a commitment to the realization of project goals through research and development collaboration, and to the development of human resources. It is intended that teachers within all research and educational departments should contribute to the effective implementation of their respective roles within the project. As the basis for roles among participating teachers within collaborating research and educational departments specific duties have been assigned by the collaborating organizations.

The cooperative organization structure has been established as outlined below:

1. Basic platform development of the integration and fusion core system

3. Basic platform development of tools for the advanced application of technology to the task of statistically-driven information fusion
